Green Day turned up for the opening party at Stolen Space. Here's Tre Cool checking out my spit and coffee splattered drawing.

Being stuck in Montreal I missed the opening but from what I've heard it turned out pretty sweet. My painting sold but it's still on display, so go check it out before it disappears into someones home.

Gotta love that guitar... Motoboy did a surprise appearance at Boutique Unicorn, to warm up for his show later that night at Pop Montreal. Really nice show and setting... some girl came into the store and actually started crying when hearing his voice.

So the latest Green Day album cover was inspired by my work. As a bit of a trade I was commissioned to do a painting inspired by their lyrics. It will be part of a group show traveling with the band.
It's really the first time I work with watercolor, think I'll be doing a lot more of that in the future. Making the frame was a bit harder that I hoped for but I'm happy with the way it turned out...
And yeah, this is it... now the painting is off to a two year world tour with the band.

Went to see Born Ruffians play at Il Motore some days ago. Had never heard the band opening the show before, The Akron Family. Turned out they were a lot better than the Ruffians. Good show!

Think this is the drummer of Born Ruffians but he played with both bands that night.
