It's that time again...

With this I'm always on time... should get it inked.

Il Motore

Went to see Born Ruffians play at Il Motore some days ago. Had never heard the band opening the show before, The Akron Family. Turned out they were a lot better than the Ruffians. Good show!

Think this is the drummer of Born Ruffians but he played with both bands that night.

More from Montreal

...I do too...

Under a bridge, somewhere way out west.

...reaching for gold...

This door leads nowhere...

Things nearly forgotten

Reminds me of Rone's big ghettoblaster at the end of the lane at the old Blender Studios. Shit that was long ago...

Some guys gave us music when we were having lunch on the balcony. Spring is almost almost almost here. Where is global warming when you need it?

Another pic from the so called riot some days ago. Omen's faces in the background.

More randomness

Took a walk on the Plateau today...

Don't know who made this but I like it, simple and nice. Is it James Dean?

To me this looks like a face...

Got stuck staring at angles...

Two boobs, no arms...

...made me smile.

Took a walk in the sun...

...ended up in the harbor and took some pics on the way.

I like the tortured texture on the boats down there.

This is pretty much the house of my dreams. Love it.

Habitat 67 on the other side of the river is pretty cool too... too many neighbors though.

Can you see the couple having sex in one of the windows?
No? Me neither...

I like this tag... guess the guy is famous...

...and I love these guys...

Riots and sunshine

Here are some of my pics from the annual manifestation against police brutality in Montreal, from yesterday.

It was pretty ridiculous actually. In a show of force, the cops closed down the whole center of town. Stores had to close, locking customers inside while the police marched up and down empty streets for no apparent reason flexing their muscles at a non-existent threat.

One guy on a bike turned the wrong corner and accidentally went through the police line... yeah, he got taken down by five cops. Great job guys, keeping the streets safe...

I think in total there were about 50 arrests and two policemen reported slight injuries. Pretty calm for a riot...

If it filled it's purpose, to lessen police brutality... I doubt we'll ever know.

Nice day in the sunshine at least... let's do it again tomorrow!
