Greenday, new album out... soon!

Uh yeah, so perhaps you ended up here from Greenday's site... here's the story of the original, in case you wanna know. I actually don't know who they are... they were just friends of a friend at a party in Eskilstuna, Sweden, sometime in uh... 2000? something like that. I wasn't even there. Andreas was though and as always he had his camera and snapped this pic.

I love their passion, and just had to make a stencil out of it to spread the love. I've painted it a bit here and there on my travels over the years...

I have so many memories connected to this image and it really means a lot to me. Glad it inspired someone... and since you've read this far, here's a few words more to read.

THE KISS
She pours gasolene around our feet
and with a kiss we set it ablaze
forgetting the frenzy of the flames
as passion chars our souls

we have lived our lives for this moment alone
and for an instant
we are one

this is all that matters
this feeling the only truth
present tense present tense
let it burn present tense
feed this fire
fuel these flames
life is love and love is now
and we burn
burn burn burn

That's it. Now go kiss a cop.

Wow! After reading that poem everything makes even more sense! Look at how Billie Joe described the new album: "The best way I can describe it right now is that it's like an apocalyptic angry mob with a city on fire and flashing lights while making out with your girlfriend."

It's cool to see the "three versions" of the same kiss!

Who is the designer that made the cover?

Dude, come stencil up Ireland. We need some more decent artists to make the place look more interesting.
The hotshots from England never come over here even though we're only a hop over.
